GILMER–The Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor “Area Wide Trade Days” on April 10-11 at the Yamboree Exhibit Building.
Exhibits can include arts and crafts, antiques, collectibles, clothing, jewelry, gift items and garage sale items. Exhibits cannot include animals of any kind, toxic chemicals, firearms, food or drinks, including free samples of food and drink. (The chamber will provide food concession).
Also banned is anything “offensive, controversial, racial or political,” and all pets, although service animals are allowed.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, and a 12×12 booth is $30 for two days. Booth reservations must be made by April 8, and payment must be made before reservations are accepted.
No refunds will be made within one week of the event, nor for bad weather. Electricity will not be available, and vendors can bring their own tables or rent them from the chamber for $5 each.
Exhibits must be completely installed by 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, and removed by 6 p.m. April 11
The exhibit building is in the Yamboree Park on U.S. 271, a short distance north of the Gilmer Civic Center.
