BSHS Class of 1967 at 50th reunion. Back L-R: David Hensley, David Mooney, Jim Wiginton, and Wayne Davis. Front L-R: Virginia Rhodes Richardson, Jerry Burns, Marsha Martin Buchheit, Bobbie Bailey Cook, and Penny Honeycutt.

After the All-School Reunion Saturday, the Class of 1967 (and friends) held a 50th reunion celebration at Sit’em Down Cowboy Church on Davis Ranch. Following the sandwich-buffet, complete with sweet Rutherford watermelon and home-made ice creams – vanilla, peach, cherry, and avocado – the group was serenaded by old band mates, Wayne Davis and Jerry Burns. “House of the Rising Sun” never sounded so good!

Various awards were presented: Jerry Burns traveled the greatest distance, Jim Wiginton was ‘most changed,’ David Mooney was ‘least changed,’ Wayne and Jackie Davis were ‘longest married,’ and ‘most number of marriages’ was presented to Penny Honeycutt. Special recognition for ‘the least amount of hair and still most handsome (in his own mind!)’ was awarded to Jerry Burns! It’s great fun to share memories with special friends.
