GILMER–The annual East Texas Forage Conference, hosted by the Upshur County office of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative.

Topics at the gathering, which is partly for livestock and hay producers, will range from forage management, pest and weed control to testing for quality, among others. Licensed pesticide applicators can obtain continuing education credits from the Texas Department of Agriculture.
