Hawkins Lady Hawks are the Bi-district champions with a 60-51 victory against McLeod on Monday.

With a 21-point second quarter, HAWKINS LADY HAWKS pulled ahead early on the strength of a 14-4 run, eventually boasting a 35-23 lead by halftime. Hawkins played an aggressive game, racking up 25 fouls during play.

Raeli Smith led the charge for Hawkins’s offense, scoring 23 points, with nine points during the fourth period. She also contributed ten rebounds and one steal.

Also contributing for Hawkins were Jaycee Cheshire (9 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks), Carolyn Searer (8 points, 3 rebounds), Emily Moore (7 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal), Alyssa Eddington (6 points,3 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal), Christian Harris (5 points, 3 rebounds), and Harlie Conover (2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist).
