Phyllis Marie Wall of Holly Lake Ranch went “home to Jesus” on September 25, 2017, the day before her 85th birthday.
Phyllis was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, on September 26, 1932, to the late Linley and Hazel Parker. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Evern Wall. Besides her husband, Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Ron) Acton and her son, Randy (Joy) Wall. She was “Bamma” to her five grandchildren and her twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephew and her niece of North Caroline, Ted (Sindy) Hill and Linda (Quentine) Bondurant. Also, sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, LaRue Wall of Hawkins, Texas, and Freda and Bud Crosby of Holly Lake.
Phyllis and Evern lived in El Paso, Texas for fifty years and retired to Holly Lake Ranch Texas the last eleven years. Phyllis was a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ. Over the last ten years she has brought joy to many with her greeting card ministry. Phyllis enjoyed decorating for every holiday and Christmas was her favorite. She lovingly made gifts for everyone during those times. She also enjoyed fishing, football and loved to entertain. She has touched so many lives and will be solely missed.
Graveside services will be held at Holly Tree Cemetery on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 A.M with Mr. Perry Cowan officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins, TX. Memorials may be made to Camp Deer Run, 1227 CR 459, Winnsboro, TX 75494.
