Rusty Fennell, Associate Director of the Hiway 80 Mission in Longview, was the guest speaker for the Holly Lake Kiwanis  on Monday, February 12th.
He gave the Club an overall view of all the programs and services they provide at the Mission:
Food (3 times a day, 365 days a year), Clothing, Room & Board, Prescription assistance, Chapel services (365 days a year), Tutoring, Shelter, Medical clinic, Laundry services, Computer lab, Spiritual counseling, Showers and personal care items, Beds
Hiway 80 Rescue Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and continues to provide emergency shelter for men, women and families who are homeless and in need of help. They do not receive any federal, government, or United Way funds. Hiway 80 Rescue Mission is a faith -based ministry and is funded through the generous contributions from individuals, local churches, businesses and corporations, and the community at large.
