The following was released from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office:
On 4-26-15 at approximately 5:30 a.m. the Wood County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a person reporting a possible burglary of a vehicle. Wood County deputies were dispatched to an address on FM 49 and while en route to the call the complainant advised dispatch that a white male was inside of the caller’s vehicle and was discharging a firearm. Upon arrival at the address, deputies encountered a white male in the back yard of the residence. The white male was identified as Brandon Corey Chrietzberg, 40, of Mineola. Two handguns were also located in the same area as Chrietzberg. Bullet holes were located in the interior of the complainant’s vehicle. Mr. Chrietzberg was taken into custody and transported to the Wood County Jail without incident. He was arrested for the offense of deadly conduct, criminal mischief and burglary of a vehicle. Bond was set in the amount of $73,000.
