GILMER–The Upshur County Grand Jury on Friday returned 28 indictments, six of them sealed, and no-billed four cases, said District Attorney Billy Byrd.
Defendants, charges and bond information in the open indictments were as follows, his office said:
Cory Neal Pitman, 24, of Gladewater, prohibited substances/items in correctional facility on April 16. Bond was set at $15,000, but he was transferred to Gregg County to face charges there..
Demetrius Gabriel Adams, 45, of Gladewater, evading arrest/detention with vehicle on July 12, $7,500
Donna Sue Heard, 52, of Big Sandy, driving while intoxicated–subsequent offense–repeat offender on Aug. 6. She remained in Upshur County Jail under $25,000 bond.
Ramsey Aaron Brown, 32, of Diana, harassment of public servant on July 17. He also remained in county jail under $20,000 bond.
Neal Brian Jackson, 36, of Jacksonville, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle on July 26, $25,000
Jason Dale Beckham, 37, of Pittsburg, evading arrest/detention with vehicle on Aug. 5, $25,000
Steven Lee Duvall, 33, of Longview, forgery on July 28. He remained in county jail under $5,000 bond.
Juan J. Guerrero-Salas, 32, of Gilmer, injury to a child on Aug. 21. He also remained in county jail under $25,000 bond.
Ore City resident Drewe Ann Reese, who turns 47 Oct. 9, criminal mischief on May 16, 2017, $5,000
Kenneth Jason Spurger, 38, of Longview, driving while intoxicated–subsequent offense on Feb. 3, $10,000
Roderick Marton Wright, 49, of Gilmer, driving while intoxicated–subsequent offense on March 4, $10,000
Courtney Sahara McCellon, 28, of Ore City, charged in one indictment with three counts of driving while intoxicated with child passenger on July 3, $10,000
Keith Fred Constant II, 42, of Longview, driving while intoxicated–subsequent offense on June 24. Although bond was set at $10,000 on that charge, he remained in county jail without bond on a charge of violating parole.
Charles Anthony Gray, 42, of Gilmer, was charged in a single indictment with one count of aggravated kidnapping with deadly weapon, two counts of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and one count of assault/family violence–occlusion, all on June 24. He remained in county jail under $150,000 bond.
Betty Sheliah Rodgers, 46, of Pittsburg, unauthorized use of vehicle on June 4, $10,000
Jon Randy Goodson, 29, of Gilmer, evading arrest/detention with previous conviction on May 6, 2017. Bond was set at $10,000, but he was released to the Bradshaw State Jail in the Henderson area since he also faced charges in another county.
Liliana Campa, 34, of Gilmer, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver (cocaine) on Jan. 9, 2017, $40,000
Brianne Rachelle Thompson, 28, of Mesquite, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) on Jan. 15, $10,000
Benjamin Heath Evans, 39, of Gilmer, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) on Jan. 23, $10,000
Sheryl Denise Phillips, 62, of Gilmer, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) on April 6, $15,000
Annisia Rene Christie, 46, of Ore City, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) on May 24, $20,000
Gregory Charles Seward, 35, of Ore City, possession of controlled substance (cocaine) on May 24, $10,000
Identity of anyone charged in the sealed indictments was not revealed because no arrests had been made in those cases, Byrd said. Those indictments included one each for aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, hindering secured creditors, forgery against elderly individual, and theft of property of the value of $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, his office said.
Nature of the no-billed cases was not disclosed.
